PTL GIRLS TRAVEL HOCKEY

Since 1992, Princeton Tiger Lilies has fielded competitive Tier I and Tier II teams at various age levels. PTL is committed to providing elite hockey training, education, mentorship, and resources. We invest in player development at all levels, tailoring our programs specifically to our athletes to help them achieve their goals. Many of our coaches are women who played at the highest levels, including NCAA Division I, professional, and the national team. They are passionate about growing the game and sharing their knowledge and experience to develop our players into strong, confident leaders.

PTL proudly plays in the Atlantic Girls Hockey Federation (“AGHF”) and the National Girls Hockey League (“NGHL”) to provide opportunities for girls to play across the Mid-Atlantic region.

MEET OUR PTL General Manager - SHELLEY LOONEY

Shelley Looney grew up in Brownstown, MI. She attended Northeastern University in Boston, MA, where she played collegiate hockey from 1991-94 and won multiple awards: ECAC All-Star, 1993 ECAC Tournament MVP and ECAC Player of the Year (1993-94).
She was inducted into Northeastern University's Hockey Hall of Fame in 1999. Looney spent 13 years with USA Hockey, finding great success as a player on the Women’s National Team, participating in 8 World Championships and 2 Olympics. In 1998, Looney scored the game-winning goal to lead the United States to an Olympic gold medal in Nagano, Japan. She won a silver medal at the 2002 Winter Olympics. The New Jersey Colonials brought Looney on board from 2006-2012 as the girls coaching director. In 2014, Looney served as co-head coach of the Buffalo Beauts of the National Women’s Hockey League,while also serving as hockey director for both the girls and boys programs at the Buffalo Bison Hockey Association (2014-2019). Looney was named the head coach of Lindenwood University's Division I program in July 2019. She spent the past 4 years growing the program. Most recently,Shelley served as an assistant coach with the USA Hockey Women’s National Team, taking silver in the IIHF 2022 World Championships.
